Karen was just an ordinary girl raised up in a typical Catholic home in the 50’s. She experienced the extremism of the “law” of doctrine only to have that very structure to be the catalyst that spurred her into a life in the opposite direction. Plagued by unresolved circumstances since her early youth, she filled the void with drugs, alcohol, immoral relationships and pornography.  She was spiraling down into the depths of each of these addictions which led to a life without restraint and direction.  in an attempt to create what people would see as normal, she married but continued in these life choices until an ultimatum was laid before her.
